Shining Bright for Holly and Bianca is a heartfelt initiative established by the families and friends of Bianca Jones and Holly Bowles—two vibrant, adventurous 19-year-old best friends from Australia whose lives were tragically cut short in November 2024 due to methanol poisoning while traveling in Thailand and Laos.

Bianca and Holly embarked on what was meant to be the trip of a lifetime, eager to immerse themselves in new cultures and create lasting memories together. Tragically, their journey ended abruptly when they fell victim to methanol poisoning—a hidden and often fatal danger that claimed their lives just one day apart.

In the wake of this unimaginable loss, our mission is to honor their memory by transforming this tragedy into a force for positive change. We are committed to:

• Raising Awareness: Educating travelers, local communities, and businesses about the dangers of methanol poisoning and how it can be prevented.
• Supporting Existing Initiatives: Contributing to organizations already working to combat methanol poisoning through education and prevention efforts.
• Relieving Financial Burdens: Assisting the families in covering out-of-pocket expenses incurred during this difficult time.

Every donation, no matter the size, helps us honor Bianca and Holly's memory and work towards preventing other families from experiencing similar heartbreak. We are deeply grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this devastating time.
